  • Dr Lonnie Johnson

    Dr. Lonnie Johnson is a bonafide "rocket scientist" and he has just one mission--- to save our planet from the consequences of continued dependence on petroleum. He is concerned about the potential of increased conflict and strife over dwindling petroleum resources and the environmental impacts of fossil fuel use, particularly global warming. Although he has devoted his life to solving some of the world's most complex technological problems, he is best known for his widely popular invention, the Super Soaker water gun.

    Forrest M Bird, M.D., PhD., ScD

    Dr. Forest M. Bird is an American aviator, inventor and biomedical engineer. He is best known for pioneering some of the first reliable mass-produced mechanical ventilators for acute and chronic cardiopulmonary care.

    Dr. Bird’s first prototype ventilator unit was tested on seriously ill patients with limited success. His first prototype consisted of strawberry shortcake tins and a doorknob.

    Thomas B. Akin

    Thomas B. Akin (58) has been a director of Dynex Capital, Inc. since May 2003, Chairman since May 30, 2005, and on February 4, 2008 accepted the position of CEO. Mr. Akin also founded and serves as the managing general partner of Talkot Capital, LLC located in Sausalito, California since 1995.

    From 1981 to 1994, Mr. Akin held various positions at Merrill Lynch. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Akin was an employee of Salomon Brothers from 1978 to 1981.

    Pamela Riddle Bird, Ph.D

    Dr. Pamela Bird is a nationally recognized commercialization expert who directed one of the largest publicly funded innovation centers in the U.S. and has counseled thousands of inventors and entrepreneurs for over two decades. Dr. Bird is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Product Technologies, Inc. (IPT, Inc.).  IPT, Inc. is a product and technology based market commercialization corporation located in Gainesville, FL with a branch office in Sandpoint, Idaho.

He is known for his ability to effectively balance creativity and practicality when identifying and solving business challenges. Bob’s business decision focus is to establish significant yet sustainable results.

    William J. Holden Jr.

    Bill’s expertise's are in sales and marketing, specifically in dealer relations and revenue generating initiatives. His previous assignments were created by management to solve problems and establish processes in both marketing and government relations. Bill has more than twenty-five years of automotive experience, with an in-depth knowledge of business operations both in retail and wholesale including: finance, purchasing and brand management.
